Patrick Ryan Morris and Sheena Alexis Suarez are the husband and wife team and co-founders of Dedalus Moving Pictures, a film production company based in Brooklyn, New York. DMP is focused on creating high-quality cinematic pieces that uplift underrepresented voices and connect our clients to their audience on an emotional level.

Patrick is a Filmmaker and Producer. He is DMP's Director of Photography, Editor and Post-Production Supervisor. Through DMP's independent spirit, he has focused on telling uniquely cinematic stories that highlight the oft unnoticed beauty and fragile voices that surround us everyday.

 

Sheena is a Filmmaker and Producer.  She has also served as a Production Designer, Costume Designer and Stylist. Her ability to build and maintain long term relationships, identify and cultivate talent through her diverse network and manage the integrity of a project during production and post is the cornerstone of DMP's success.

In 2017, Patrick and Sheena co-produced BET Digital's Award winning series, “Brooklyn. Blue. Sky.”

In 2018, they produced the award-winning series, "King Ester." In 2020 it was nominated for four Daytime Emmys.

​

Their latest project, "Caretakers," presented by PBS' Chasing the Dream, premiered on pbs.org during Filipino-American History Month in October 2021. Geena Rocero's directorial debut is a four-part docuseries that looks at the history of Filipinos in care work and profiles Filipino Americans on the front lines today. It was nominated for a 2022 GLAAD media award for Outstanding Online Journalism. All four episodes were nominated for an Emmy at the 65th annual New York Emmy Awards.
